The Comoro Islands or Comoros (Shikomori ''Komori''; (アラビア語:جزر القمر ), ''Juzur al-Qamar''; French Les Comores) form an archipelago of volcanic islands situated off the south-east coast of Africa, to the east of Mozambique and north-west of Madagascar.
